Celebrity couple Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are to present an award together at the upcoming Emmys show in Los Angeles, CBS said Tuesday.
Bacon and Sedgwick have been married for 21 years.
I’ve added another 97 HQs of Kyra receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last month!
I’m sorry for the lack of updates this past month – I’ve been super-busy with offline things. I should have more time in a few weeks and then I will really try to get the Gallery & main site a bit more complete. Remember to comment here so I know people are visiting
• Receiving a Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame x97
As reported earlier today, Kyra received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame yesterday!! Congratulations Kyra! This is such an exciting honour. Kyra looked absolutely gorgeous in a little orange dress at the ceremony, and her husband Kevin Bacon and the majority of her The Closer co-stars were in attendance at the cermony to honour her, and G.W Bailey (Provenza) appeared to give a speech. As you will see from the photos, Kyra got a bit emotional during the event, which is so sweet to see.
There are literally hundreds of photos from this event, so I will be going through them and adding them in batches. Today we have the first lot of 99 photos, and stay tuned for more throughout the week!
(I will also be catching up with all the other 2009 Appearance photos as soon as I can…!)
• Receiving a Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame x99
Golden Globe-winning actress Kyra Sedgwick — who is less than one degree separated from Kevin Bacon — received the 2,384th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday.
Sedgwick’s police drama “The Closer” begins its fifth season on TNT this evening (Monday 8th).
Sedgwick, whose star is located next to husband Kevin Bacon’s star, has received four Golden Globe nominations, winning once, three Emmy nominations and a People’s Choice Award for her portrayal of Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson on “The Closer.”
Sedgwick also received Golden Globe nominations for the 1995 film “Something to Talk About” and the 1992 made-for-television movie “Miss Rose White.”
