Hello! I am doing a special fundraiser for The Sunshine Kids in honor of THE CLOSER. I met Kyra and the cast last Oct during my 2 day set visit. Kyra and Kevin Bacon attend SSK events to help these inspirational children. GW Bailey is the executive director of SSK. I would so greatly appreciate if you would post a link and story about the fundraiser for Kyra fans to donate. Kyra and the cast will be notified that they donated to SSK in her honor! I am doing a special fundraiser for The Sunshine Kids in honor of THE CLOSER. G.W. Bailey is the executive director of SSK which provides free & fun activities for kids with cancer. His late goddaughter was a Sunshine Kid.
I met the cast and presented the first $2000 check last Oct. TNT is alllowing me to continue this fundraiser until the show officially ends. It is a unique way to say “Thank Yew” to the cast by supporting this foundation that means so much to them.
Tony and I have been working together to bring attention to this organization. There are 2 interviews on this fundraiser page Tony did with Rob Ekno & Doug Foresta. Tony he talks about his involvement with SSK and that you never know if this is the last trip a child makes due to SSK and what an impact a donation can make.
